Andy Robertson suffers ankle injury during Scotland friendly
Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson limped off during the first half of Scotland's meeting with Northern Ireland on Tuesday after picking up an ankle injury.
Robertson suffered a nasty shoulder injury during October's international break which kept him out of action until January and he will now be fearing another spell on the sidelines.
The Liverpool star went down holding his ankle after being caught by Sunderland's Trai Hume and looked in discomfort as he left the field.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will be sweating over Robertson's fitness ahead of Liverpool's return to domestic action, which will see them face Brighton & Hove Albion on March 31.
Should Robertson need time on the sidelines, Klopp could turn to natural understudy Kostas Tsimikas or the versatile Joe Gomez, who enjoyed an excellent run of form covering for Robertson earlier this season.
