4. Walmart targets influencer sales with a new platform
A new program has been launched by Walmart designed to make it easier for social media influencers and content creators to monetize shoppable products from the retailer.
The Walmart Creator platform allows creators to share product links to any social platform or group of their choice, receive product recommendations based on interests and affinities, and collect performance data. In addition, creators can track and view performance in an analytics dashboard to better understand how customers engaged with the products they featured in their posts.

5. Samsung will make its Tizen operating system available to third-party smart TV makers for the first time
For the first time, Samsung has announced that it is making its open-source Tizen operating system available to third-party smart TV manufacturers. Smart TVs which use the operating system will also have access to Samsung TV Plus - the company’s FAST service.
Samsung will sell the smart TVs offering service in marketings including Italy, Spain, Turkey, New Zealand, the United States, and the UK.
